There ya go AAIM. A bright future for that one, and wait for the LSM to tear her apart as we know it’s coming. It is predictable, and no super computers needed fer that.

You know, it sounds really nice….

Problem is that some of these same people want us to have our noses in the business of everyone that isn’t American (Pro war people). Some of them still want to throw people in jail for smoking a little dope, some want to destroy porn because they’ve decided that it’s bad for everyone and we must rid ourselves of this perverted stuff. Many are still against prostitution. They still want to prevent women from doing what they want with their own bodies. Which hey… In regards to abortion there is a legit argument to be made. But… Some are pro-life, but if some non american kids get killed in our wars, that’s an acceptable loss as long as it keeps Americans “safe”.

Anyone that is smart is a conservative money wise. Sadly we have a society that looks like our government. People spend like money like it is going out of style. Middle class families expect to be able to afford 3 or 4 50 inch TV’s, 3 cars and 3 computers. Living within your means is basically a rare and dirty thing now. It’s a combination of irresponsible people and a big commercial world that encourages people to be irresponsible. I can’t even turn on my TV without being bombarded with endless advertisements. Just the same, responsibility should mostly be laid at the feet of the individual person and the choices they make.

As for liberals… Things about liberals that sometimes annoy me:

Liberals are more prone to being mean spirited, angry, and sometimes they have a damn chip on their shoulder. Liberals also often claim to be intellectually superior to conservatives, but liberals are at times more naive than they would they would admit. They don’t realize that entitlements can be harmful to society, and I do believe that at this point there needs to be a cutback because it does kill independence when people can just be handed stuff without having to earn it.

Morale is a big thing. It’s hard to have high morale when you’re accepting things that are given to you all the time. Conservatives I think in many ways have a better understanding of the human condition. But at the end of the day, I don’t like either political party right now all that much. I’m not going to back a party that has done nothing to cut into our crazy debt, and I’m not voting for a party that basically rejects the most honest man they have simply because he will not toe the line. And I’m not going to vote for a party that wants to go into another war. Morale in this country is pretty low right now. People are scared and they fear for the future of their children and families. Going to war with Iran will NOT help that. It will cost people lives, hurt the american morale and it will cost more money. And that’s not what we need right now.

OK rocknblues81, what do you do when people are at war with you and have been at war with you for more than 200 years? WRT the drug war, it was the ‘Progressives’ who gave us that. Unfortunately, too many people these days don’t know the truth of that.

    • rocknblues81 says:

The war on drugs was really pushed by Richard Nixon. If you want to say that he is a liberal, then how can you defend Mitt Romney now? Reagan was big on the war on drugs also. These two guys took it to a new level. They surely aren’t blameless. Yes, you can originally pin it on Woodrow Wilson, but it was embraced by the republicans and pushed to another level.

“Gingrich: Founding fathers would have ‘violent’ reaction to pot growers”

      http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2012/01/04/gingrich-founding-fathers-would-have-violent-reaction-to-pot-growers/

“He said at an town hall event in New Hampshire that decriminalizing drugs like marijuana would increase the rate of addictions and increase crime.

“In general, I’d like us to be as drug free as possible and I think that it requires a much more serious approach.”

Gingrich was later asked if former Presidents Thomas Jefferson or George Washington should have been arrested for growing marijuana.

“I think Jefferson or George Washington would have rather strongly discouraged you from growing marijuana and their techniques with dealing with it would have been rather more violent than our current government,” he responded.”

But even then… Obama isn’t for legalizing it either. I’m not trying to throw it all on republicans.

On foreign policy, we have our nose in so many people’s business that it’s not even funny. And for a long time. Of course liberals want it both ways also. They want us to stay out of other countries business, but many are for foreign aid at the same time. I used to be for foreign aid. Not anymore.

For the record, I was for going after Bin Laden… So, I have no problem with going into Afghanistan. We were attacked, and we rightfully went after OBL… I do object to going into Iraq though.

  4. It is profound how dumb some Americans are. Some are calling her African American. Americans are so dumb they think people from Haiti are from Africa.

    Nice going stupid Americans.

  5. Also, apparently she voted for Obama in 2008.
