He’s really frustrated that nobody is paying any attention to him and this “1000 year drought” and the equivalent of “3000 Gulf oil spills.” Unbelievable.
Gore says “we have the whole country suffering from this massive drought…10% of the Earth now hit by these extraordinary, once-in-a-thousand-year type events”], to an increase in cases of West Nile Virus, to melting polar ice caps.
“Just as they did not report the truth about the proposal to invade Iraq, we are not getting the accurate impression about this challenge that we have to face — to stop putting 90 million tons of global warming pollution up into the atmosphere every single day,” Gore said. “They aren’t only doing nothing about it, there’s hardly any discussion about it. It drives me crazy.”
……… Gore, speaking about carbon dioxide emissions, rants about “5,000 Gulf oil spills, the equivalent by weight, every single day”.
