Yeah, good old “back then” when everything was “cold.”
Which makes me wonder, why George Washington crossed the Delaware in a boat. Why didn’t he just walk across it? It is pretty common for the Delaware to freeze that time of year.
It’s ALL good if your particular ideology is that which would rather have fewer people (other than followers of your particular “faith”) around to share the goodies…
Washington crossed Christmas night, 1776. Ice was heavy, but winter was early, so it had not yet frozen over.
One week prior to the crossing, Thomas Paine penned the following, which Washington ordered read to all the troops:
“These are the times that try men’s souls; the summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.”

“People.” They’re just Earth pollution, aren’t they. I can’t imagine a worst species than “People.”

At least we did not have to endure a greater risk of Hay fever back then.

My point was; no hockey sticks.
Looks like the goal post in that video was moved literally! Ya see the size of those nets. 😆
Well maybe things aren’t as great as they were in the Dark Ages but, at least the alarmists have brought back the persecution of heretics.
