Eighth Largest US Corn Crop On Record

NOAA has been wildly exaggerating the heat and the drought, but the corn crop doesn’t lie.

RFA President Bob Dinneen said the USDA crop production report confirmed that farmers are likely to harvest the eighth-largest corn crop on record this fall, despite enduring the worst drought conditions in more than 50 years.

In 1988, the Mississippi River almost dried up. Claims that this is the worst drought in 5o years were NOAA lies.

He said that it’s “truly remarkable” that even in the face of the worst drought in 50 years and the hottest July in recorded history, U.S. farmers were able to produce a corn crop of this size.

July was cooler than 1936 and 1901, before NOAA cheating. The truly remarkable thing is how dishonest the US government is.

A major disappointment to the misanthropes at GreenPeace, NASA, NOAA, the New York Times, etc.

Industry is already using the supposed corn shortage to drive up feed prices . I wonder how they will spin it now ? Possibly blame it on ethanol production ? What a waste of good corn to use it to produce a fuel that is inferior to what is already available .

  3. kirkmyers says:

NOAA and NASA continue through data gamesmanship to artificially heat a planet that hasn’t warmed in more than 15 years (see HadCRUT3 unadjusted), despite rising levels of CO2. Is it any wonder former NASA astronauts and engineers have scolded the agency for its exaggerated and unscientific proclamations of dangerous global warming? The same agency that put a man on the moon has morphed into an activist-driven political appendage of the Warmist cult.

  4. Andy DC says:

There was a time not long ago when 40 bushels an acre was considered a bumper corn crop. Now 122 is considered a bad crop. Agricultural science has made incredible strides.

Thank God we had extra CO2 on hand! Increased CO2 reduces drought stress in most plants, and it comes free with every tank of gas! Makes me want to drive to the store for some grain fed beef. 😉

‘…farmers are likely to harvest the eighth-LARGEST corn crop on record this fall…’

The drought was so bad, only two ears of corn survived. But the massive CO2 levels caused them to be REALLY BIG ears…

  9. Streetcred says:

Nature doesn’t lie and it doesn’t pick sides … if the crop was the 8th largest on record, then it is not possible for the weather to have been catastrophic as misrepresented by NOAA, NASA, Greenpeace, et al. Water, sunlight, and nutrient must have been just perfect growing conditions.

  10. There may seem to be record corn but uh . . let me be clear . . . that corn was . . . . uh . . . . WHERE’S ROMNEY’S TAXES???

  11. Chris says:

and “Globally, USDA is still projecting the second-largest corn crop in history”…

  12. mwhite says:

“Global grain supply is also expected to be the second-largest in history”
