Katherine “World Began In 1970” Hayhoe Flames Climate Denier Conspiracy Theorists

Katherine’s research normally assumes that we have no weather records prior to 1970, and she considers it a conspiracy that bloggers call her on her BS.

  1. Brian G Valentine says:

There is something real creepy about these “Cristian ‘Environmentalists'” like Katherine, John Cook, Lisa Jackson, et al.

I hate to call them “Crusaders,” Osama kinda wore that one thin

  2. kirkmyers says:

The only people “denying” the reality of climate change are charlatans like Katherine Hayoe. Earth to Ms. Hayoe: our planet’s climate has been in constant flux for more than 4 billions years. There’s no reason to believe that any of the changes in global temperatures over the past 100 years or so are anything but cyclical natural variations.

The human-CO2-is-warming-the-planet scare has been falsified over and over (no global warming in 15 years, no mid-tropospheric hot spot over the tropics, no runaway melting of polar ice, no disappearing glaciers, no increases in hurricanes or tornadoes), yet Hayoe and other alarmists continue to cling to their pet theory like a child embracing their pet Teddy Bear. They’ve fallen in love with their theory, and will defend it until the bitter end (or until hell on earth freezes over).

  3. omnologos says:

Isn’t it funny, as soon as the usual suspects say Boo! then an army of mindless idiots repeats everywhere Boo! Boo! Boo!

And no am not talking of a conspiracy. Only people with a soul and a brain can conspire. Legions of minions are just that, minions incapable of independent thinking.

  4. Sundance says:

Maybe KH is God’s way of making fun of climate science?

  5. Hey, if the lady wants to hitch her wagon to a ridiculously fraudulent paper, I say we let her. I simply can’t wait for her confirming study to be published.

  6. leftinbrooklyn says:

‘Climate denier bloggers scramble to deny they are just another manifestation of garden-variety conspiracy theorists http://bit.ly/RIc7d6

This message brought to you by CO2, Inc., without which, this tweet would not be possible.

    • Billy Liar says:

I think Lew must be counting ‘out of office’ replies as a response!

      • omnologos says:

The Cook&Lew debacle, and Hillsboro, are out there now reminding us that conspiracies do exist, those involving a few people. It’s the Grand Conspiracies involving thousands, that mark the nutters and the “conspiracy theorists”.

  7. Justa Joe says:

Ms. Cathy is one of the first people to scream to the press about harrassment when somebody calls her to task for the alatmist junk that she peddles. Of course, Kathy doesn’t even bat an eye lash at calling anyone that isn’t full tilt alarmist on the climate a conspiracy nut. What’s good for the gander isn’t good for the goose in Ms.Cathy’s world.

Don’t buy the Christian schtick Ms. Cathy is quite the little entrepreneur when it comes to the climate con.

  8. These are the reasons why you are incompetent…

I am incompetent? Impossible! Your accusation is a conspiracy theory! 😉

  9. Andy DC says:

You are a denier/conspiracy theorist if you have the audacity to compare raw data to raw data, rather than doctored data to other doctored data starting 1n the cherry picked year of 1979.

  10. It’s a below average conspiracy when a large number of individuals smarter than her are publicly pointing out how stupid her in-group is, using post post modern techniques such as reason and logic. 😉

  11. Dave N says:

So coming up with a study to determine whether “deniers” are conspiracy theorists isn’t desperately “scrambling” for something to cling on to, since alarmists are totally inept at climate science? Irony number 1.

Irony number 2: Lewandowsky has only proven himself inept at the science he is supposed to be good at.

  12. TinyCO2 says:

Oh! So it’s not a conspiracy that people, who should know better, are lapping up this silly research paper? Oh, so sorry. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt. So if it’s not a conspiracy it must mean that they really ARE that stupid.

Perhaps we should have a competition for looking for answers in all the wrong places.

    My entries would be:-
Polling chubby chasers on a pro anorexia site.
Asking those with a fear of flying about their favourite airline.
Getting animal liberationists to choose which Damien Hurst pickled creature they like best.

  13. Rob says:

I have a new litmus test for climate “scientists”. If they comment favorably on blatantly incompetent alarmist research as is the case with Ms. Hayhoe here, then they are completely without scientific credibility themselves. It’s pretty easy to see who the charlatans are when a piece of unequivocal, indefensible junk science gets debated publicly.

  14. I see Katherine’s not to big on thinking.

  15. Brian G Valentine says:

“Anyone who has ever listened to Hayhoe would be as sickened as I was over the vitriolic attacks she has endured in the past week. Being both a climate scientist and an evangelical Christian, Hayhoe speaks to faith communities, explaining the science of climate change in easy-to-understand language and also offering the spiritual perspective on global warming: What would Jesus do about climate change?

I guess she has endured enough “vitriolic attacks,” so I’ll be polite: “Idiot Bitch, you have no idea what you’re talkin’ about.”

  16. Blade says:

    Brainless beyotch.

Those most likely to believe in Roswell UFO’s or faked moon landings or 9/11 as an inside job are the same leftist scum that peddle AGW.

Unfortunately, there is a liberal born every minute.

  17. papiertigre says:

I think the line goes, “Katharine, you ignorant, misguided, slut.”

And Katherine is spelled with two “E”s not two “A”s. SO I guess her condition was inherited.

  18. Jean Croton says:

Her parents must be so embarrassed.

And so sad such a promising career went AWOL when she took to the Kool Aide.

  19. Well, Katharine has not been right about much else, so I would not bet on her this time!
