“The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims – as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others.”

This is surprising, because he has no problem with personally insulting the religious beliefs of Americans.

Here Obama apologizes to small town America…

Obama thinks he’s Lawrence of Arabia and can get these backward fanatics to put aside their sectarian in-fighting and can modernize and transform them into California progressives, when the reality is that Obama is Jimmy Carter with the exception that Carter ran a business, wasn’t delusional, wasn’t a chronic liar and was far more transparent in running the country.

Obama can’t be blamed for trying to win over hearts and minds (sarc). Just like Carter trying to win over hearts and minds in Iran during 1979 by saying what a bad man the Shah was, then trying to suck up to to the Ayatolla. The Ayatolla didn’t wait ten minutes before he rubbed Carter’s face in it. When you ignore history, you are doomed to repeat it.

First, where is their defense of Christians who are always being mocked and attacked – and often physically by Muslims? Second, you cannot hurt religious beliefs. Beliefs are thought people hold; they have no body nor feelings. You can attack beliefs in various ways such as with argument or mockery but they are not hurt. The people who hold these beliefs have the choice as whether to answer the attacks by argument, ignore the attacks, or to choose to be outraged by someone’s contrary viewpoint. To feel hurt or offended is their choice. Are these educated people?
The problem I have with Obama is the messaging our president has consistently sent to these extreme factions. We’ve funded them. We’ve encouraged them. We’ve apologized for our First Amendment rights. We have apologized for our past actions.
All of these things considered, what results, other than the tragic ones we’ve seen, could we expect?
‘Abuse free speech’? There is no such thing. Free speech is free speech. Any so called ‘abuse’ makes free speech not free.
Universal free speech? There is no universal right of free speech. There is FS in the USA, but it is hanging by a thread.
It is interesting how often President Obama gets burned in effigy in Islamic countries.

Ain’t political correctness grand?
Who’da thunk it after what happened 11 years ago that they would completely turn it around so that they are the victims.
Just go watch the movie ‘102 Minutes that Changed the World’ (saw it like 3 times the other day) to erase the brainwashing.
They can all go eff themselves.
Political correctness is a form of terrorism. It comes from liberals. They are domestic terrorists.
