Nenana ice appears headed for a record late breakup.
The latest the ice has ever broken up was May 20, in 1964
Rotten ice tends to get all bloated as it decays making it much thicker than nomal ice, not influenced by CO2. Rotten ice is also caused by excess heat which makes the world really cold.

Canary in the coal mine? Taken 15 minutes ago in Anchorage, Alaska. Resident of Anchorage over 47 years, never recall anything like it.
