Attorney General Covered Up Black Panther Voter Intimidation

Internal Department of Justice emails obtained by The Daily Caller show Attorney General Eric Holder’s communications staff has collaborated with the left-wing advocacy group Media Matters for America in an attempt to quell news stories about scandals plaguing Holder and America’s top law enforcement agency.  Dozens of pages of emails between DOJ Office of Public Affairs Director Tracy Schmaler and Media Matters staffers show Schmaler,

Holder’s top press defender, working with Media Matters to attack reporters covering DOJ scandals. TheDC obtained the emails through a Freedom of Information Act request.

Emails sent in September and November 2010 show Schmaler working with Media Matters staffer Jeremy Holden on attacking news coverage of the New Black Panther Party voter intimidation scandal.

The black cloud of scandal no longer slowly creeps across the face of this administration. It is spreading at an “alarming” rate. Up next, Obama tries to redefine the meaning of “is”.

Smacks of what Bubba Clinton said about his affair with M Lewinsjy!!!!!!!

  3. gator69 says:

Well, if Media Matters had any credibility left, it’s gone now!

Holder is a criminal and should never see the outside of a prison again.

  4. TomC says:

Let’s all keep in mind that Media Matters is a 501 (c)(3) charity organization in the same manner Tea Party groups attempted to gain tax-exempt status from the IRS. The irony isn’t lost here.

  5. phodges says:

Holder is the most blatant criminal in the whole administration…and that is saying something.

If there was anyone left in government even remotely concerned with our nations interests that man would already long be in jail

“Because so many conservative commentators specialize in trying to make white citizens feel threatened by a black president, the agitation over alleged voter intimidation by the New Black Panthers isn’t going away any time soon. Fox News, with a ratings hit, is having way too much fun with it.”

“But any conservatives who actually think for themselves ought to take a look at a piece conservative scholar Abigail Thernstrom wrote for the National Review’s Web site, in which she dismissed the case as “small potatoes.”

“Thernstrom, appointed by George W. Bush as vice-chairman of the Civil Rights Commission, is a highly-respected conservative scholar with a long record of criticizing affirmation action and other policies on race that she dismisses as “politically correct.” But she refuses to go along with the trumped-up outrage over the New Black Panthers.”

“This doesn’t have to do with the Black Panthers; this has to do with their fantasies about how they could use this issue to topple the [Obama] administration,” said Thernstrom, who said members of the commission voiced their political aims “in the initial discussions” of the Panther case last year.

“My fellow conservatives on the commission had this wild notion they could bring Eric Holder down and really damage the president.”

“The incident involved only two Panthers at a single majority-black precinct in Philadelphia. So far — after months of hearings, testimony and investigation — no one has produced actual evidence that any voters were too scared to cast their ballots. Too much overheated rhetoric filled with insinuations and unsubstantiated charges has been devoted to this case.”

    • “Too scared” is not an acceptable standard. Rosa Parks was obviously not “too scared” to get on the bus – does that mean she was not being intimidated?

Your racist rant is absolutely disgusting.

“The incident involved only two Panthers at a single majority-black precinct in Philadelphia.”

…the incident involved only two white supremacist at a single majority-white precinct in Mississippi…..

      how’s that WJC?

      rac·ism [rey-siz-uhm] Show IPA
      noun

      1. a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one’s own race is superior and has the right to rule others.

I suggest you read that definition carefully. It is from the dictionary.

Then stop being a racist. Racists are very ugly, even when they come disguised as a friend (especially then).
