    That is amazing! I’ve never seen a pile of snow in that webcam view as big as the one to the left of the hut. Nor have I seen drifts like the ones near the flags.

    They are saving the snow for the Winter Olympics! 😉
    They will have to move the Greenhouse to the top of that pile of snow soon

    Those are methane bubbles formed from the melting of the permafrost underneath.

    Heat from the melting ice on top sinks to the bottom of the pile and defrosts the hydrates.

    One cigarette and a bad swing and the whole place goes up.
