Yep, after 2007 they thought their dream if an ice free Arctic was a sure thing. And if you look at that graph, one thing is clear, they do not want you to consider anything after the year 2000 as part of any ‘average’ or ‘normal’. To them natural variability in the Arctic ended thirteen years ago.
