Exactly–the more you’re kissing and licking them, the more CO2 you’re adding to destroy the world. Hot breath=more CO2. I think that’s why Tipper got rid of Algore, and why Hansen, Pachauri, Obama, Hillary, et al need a date. (Sorry, not Hillary–my bad).
(a) And if you don’t have high testosterone? Google is only your friend If you understand what you read. (b) the operation is not equivalent to castration although erectile function could be lost if a nerve close to the prostate was damaged during the procedure.
Note that prostate cancer screening (PSA blood test) is not covered under Obamacare because the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force says so. http://www.uspreventiveservicestaskforce.org/prostatecancerscreening.htm
Only things that have an “A” or “B” recommendation from USPSTF are covered under Obamacare, even with your family history.
It is correct for USPSTF to point out that PSA is a crappy screening test, with lots of false negatives, false positives, and lead-time bias skewing survival data, but my point is you and your doctor don’t get to make that decision to test based on your personal or family history or your values – govt has already made the decision for you. The good news is that private insurances may still choose to pay for the test.
Comparison of castration for prostate cancer prevention with mastectomy for BRCA mutation is like comparing apples to oranges. There is no similar genetic test for prostate cancer. However, many prostate cancers are testosterone-dependant, and sometimes “medical castration” with medications (e.g. Flutamide, Lupron) is done for patients with advanced prostate cancer. Physical castration is not indicated for prostate cancer prevention, but is rarely used is some patients with advanced prostate cancer.
Almost all men get prostate cancer if they live long enough – one is more likely to die with it than from it. Breast cancer is different.
i.e., “let the old white guys die.” That’s OK with me. I’ll be looking down from on high and laughing at the idiots as they destroy what we’ve left them.
So, what exactly is the BRCA mutation? Are the mutants the spitters as opposed to the swallowers? Or, are they like most of our day’s femininists, who hate anything that spits something? And if so, how do we help them?
Well it will most likely prevent that cancer, although you’re still subject to all the risks of the other cancers, or you might get hit by a car crossing the road. People don’t generally understand risk very well.
You don’t find too many men cutting their cocks off because of some stupid health threat, do you? I’ll be working on a roof tomorrow–let me cut off my leg so it doesn’t get broken if I fall. Pure idiocy, even with the “science.”
That’s dumb. All they have to do is make sure they take enough vitamin D. Most doctors don’t seem to be aware of widespread vitamin d deficiency. Cancer rate will plummet overnight. Very simple and cost effective.
4 out of 5 climate alarmist agree that breast reduction reduces global warming.

My grandfather, father, and uncle died from prostate cancer but I’m not planning to be castrated to up my chancres of preventing it.
That’s not where your prostate is.
Research: High Testosterone Increases Prostate Cancer Risk

Google is your friend.
Removal of the prostrate might as well be castration.

Prostate cancer incidence and mortality is actually higher among blacks than whites.

“Uniformed voters” now equals “uninformed UK women”.
Well, like most surveys, it has no relationships to the real world – just like AGW “models” and Mann made GW.
Damn. Just as I was getting ready for a 3″ addadictome. Looks like no more pearl necklaces, girls.
Of course, nowhere near 7 in 10 women is positive for the BRCA mutation.

Penile amputation is only done for penile cancer, not prostate cancer. I had one patient actually die from penile cancer in my career. Rare.
What did he die from, doc? Penicular atrophy from lack of use? Just wondering?
Sepsis, old age.

Vitamin D is overrated. Important, but overrated.

On what factual/objective basis do you make your claim “Most doctors don’t seem to be aware of widespread vitamin d (sic) deficiency.” Show me your data.
