Canada celebrates Queen Victoria’s birthday today. She was fortunate to live during a time when the climate was safe from high levels of CO2.
Tornadoes and floods in 1890 destroyed hundreds of villages and killed thousands of people in the US. The monarchy has diminished in importance in England since Victoria’s time, but the current US monarch (Marie Antoinette Obama) hopes to stabilize the climate back to the way it was in 1890.
31 Mar 1890 – TERRIBLE DISASTERS IN AMERICA. TOWNS AND VILLAGE…
05 Apr 1890 – Cyclone and Floods in America. TORNADO AND BLIZZ…
Obama deserves a penny for his thoughts.
Good job CO2 wasn’t 400ppm when Vickie was around. We’d all be extinct by now. Either that or frying in the “midday sun”.
Must have been easy to sell newspapers in 1890 – they didn’t have to exaggerate anything.
We had this ditty when I was growing up in Calgary, Alberta, Canada – “Oh, the 24th of May is the Queen’s birthday, If we don’t get a holiday – we’ll all run away”.
Too bad that all us potential and actual run-aways did not have to put up with all that EVIL CO2. /sarc
BTW, the holiday is celebrated on the last Monday before May 25.
this is anecdotal
There is more solid evidence for this than the existence of your brain.
That’s what warmist alarmists say whenever recorded historic events don’t fit their meme. It’s anecdotal. Of course when it comes to anecdotal they’re happy with it when it turns up in grey literature supporting AGW/CC and ends up being passed a IPCC or whatever else junk science. 🙂
Hey, the Roman Empire is anecdotal. All we got is a bunch of stories, a few coins, and a couple of old aqueducts.
That’s not true. The movie Gladiator proved that Rome existed, with live tweets and video.
I’ve come across a ton of things like this in Google Books magazine search that are right up your alley. How about this one on weather weirding back in 1911? http://bit.ly/12HsTC8

Queen Vic would not be impressed with the offspring today.
King Quack in waiting Charles and his putrid WWF greenfleecing brother Prince Philip are a disgrace and embarassment to the UK. When you see what these guys are up too you soon realise why universities and politics in the UK is full on green theology.
All things industrial, all things manufactured are ghastly business, activity that must be culled. Organic cabbage, wind turbines and left wing conservatives are the future for Britain as far as they are concerned. Can organic cabbage juice power the UK? They might have to find out yet!
