1886 : Three Hurricanes In June

The US has not seen a June hurricane in 27 years, but in 1886 the US was hit by three of them.  In a two week period in June 1886, the US had as many hurricane strikes as during Obama’s entire 4-1/2 years.

    I blame pCO2 being under 300 ppmV at the time. If they’d had polluted the atmosphere and annoyed Gaia more those hurricanes never would have happened.

    Dont leave out these are Cat 2 storms all of Obummers were Cat 1.

    But at least those were natural hurricanes, in perfect harmony with nature and with no carbon footprint from evil SUVs and pickup trucks.

    This is consistent with the idea that one result of overall warming is a decrease in the frequency of extreme events (which is what was espoused by leading climatologists in the 70’s).
