Global warming appears to have slowed lately. That’s no reason to celebrate.

  1. Andy Oz says:

Bobby has a permanent list to port and should be put onto dry dock for repairs. That’s why he sees a slope in everything that’s flat. What a weird chap!

  2. IF we get hit by a giant asteroid this COULD leave the world’s military potentially defenceless which would make us rife for a POSSIBLE alien invasion.

See I play this game well too. 🙂

  3. Andy Oz says:

NASA agrees with Bobby. Antarctic Ice is breaking up catastrophically. Maybe Hansen has a fembot in NASA still issuing PR statements even though he is homeless these days.

  4. Fred Allen says:

The strategy of the alarmist priests is to have so many talking points out there, that the realists can never hope to present evidence against all. When Antarctic ice is covering an enormous area, then the ice on the land mass is thinning. When the Arctic ice extent is expanding over previous years, then it’s much thinner and volume is down. When this excuse looks doubtful, then permafrost melting is suggested. Then ocean acidification, then…then…then…

  5. NoMoreGore says:

If .0001 additional warming suddenly releases quadrillions of gigatons of something into the atmosphere, things will get pretty dicey…. or slicey, or spicey, not sure.

  6. Chewer says:

We just repeated the cyclical events of 1918-1941, so a method of predicting the future is best achieved using the past, as a reference.
Bobby hasn’t looked at history thoroughly enough, which does fit the AGW mode of operation.
Upper tropospheric interactions and particle mixing along with the 10,000 X drier than Sahara mesospheric digestion is indeed a filter between EMF’s of all wavelengths coming from below ( the Troposphere & Stratosphere) and the varying regions above. We found out 7 months ago that the Van Allen belts can come in flavors of three or more and have no measurements of the rarified matter within the upper magnetosphere, much less the regions from -30m below our surface all the way up to 9 Re in space.
Most Climatologists are low IQ individuals with an egotistical twist that does not suit mankind well!
Trying to understand the ability of mixed C02 with the other 99.586% of tropospheric constituents to influence the planets heat content is similar to a moron on a mission to waste my $.

  7. gofer says:

“….all sorts of unpredictable effects.” Unpredictable are the worst kind. Be afraid, be very afraid.

    • Andy DC says:

If we do nothing there are all sorts of unpredicable effects, but even if we take all the man made CO2 out of the atmosphere, there will still be all sorts of unpredicable effects. Perhaps an Ice Age. Those have taken place several times in the past, long before humanity became a factor. Another Ice Age would do far more harm to human civilization than a few degrees of warming.

    Washington Post
“Global warming appears to have slowed lately. That’s no reason to celebrate.”

Why not celebrate? Here is the Warmist brain in action. Only bad climate / bad weather is worth celebrating. It’s the hidden agenda really. 🙁

  9. R. de Haan says:

They are recycling, recycling, recycling. Same old crap over and over. They never give up.
It’s like a herpes infection. You have to kill the host to get rid of the disease.

  10. sunsettommy says:

    Ha ha ha…..,

Bobby is much taken with the unverified climate temperature modeling projections along with the never observed positive feedbacks to melt the world.

It is this stupid tripe is why I get cynical about their brain health and their obvious loony leftist greenie philosophy.

  11. JFB says:

    Permafrost is a non-problem:

Long-term warming restructures Arctic tundra without changing net soil carbon storage

Thanks for the headline idea! Got the WaPo story “greened” over at fark.com. “Global warming may ‘appear’ to have ‘slowed’ for only 15 years, but EVERYONE STILL NEEDS TO PANIC, and we really really mean it this time, for reals. Hello? Anyone?”
As with most agw threads at fark, the comments are a lot of fun to read, enjoy: http://www.fark.com/comments/7798939/Global-warming-may-appear-to-have-slowed-for-only-15-years-but-EVERYONE-STILL-NEEDS-TO-PANIC-we-really-really-mean-it-this-time-for-reals-Hello-Anyone?startid=84825680
