6/11/13 2:07 PM EDTFormer Vice President Al Gore lamented today that scientists “will not let us link record-breaking” tornadoes in Oklahoma and elsewhere to climate change because of inadequate record keeping on the twisters.
“But when you put more energy into a system, it gets more energetic,” Gore said at an environmental event in Washington hosted by Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse.
Al Gore: Scientists won’t ‘let us’ connect climate to tornadoes – Darren Goode – POLITICO.com
Records of tornadoes are quite adequate to show that the last two years have been the quietest on record for tornadoes.
what a moron….more energy can also make some things more stable
lack of energy…makes them unstable
Gore still doesn’t grasp the concept that energetic weather is formed when cold air meets warm air. Really sad.. 🙁
Al Gore is not only a liar but a hypocrite of the highest order. He likes to link sceptics to the tobacco lobby. What he doesn’t want people to remember is that he cultivated and sold tobacco as well as take money from tobacco interests years after his sister died of lung cancer.
Al Gore, the climate change campaigner, has been quoted in 1996 by the New York Times saying:
Earlier in the same article the New York Times said:
It’s also important to know that Al Gore’s family became wealthy because of Big Oil Occidental. Al Gore has recently sold his old Current TV to the oil funded Al Jazeera back in January this year. He then wonders why scientists want to stop him from lying. Scum bag.
Can you just imagine if we had had eight years of him followed by 4½ years of Obama?
It is doubtful the TEA party could have risen to prominence under such a scenario, which if true would mean that the House would have remained since Democratic control since 2006.
RTF
A shapeshifter like Al doesn’t really misunderstand that Tornadoes haven’t worsened. Somewhere behind his words lie a major donor or two or three. There’s a payout waiting behind the carbon tax schemes….bigger than any other.
BINGO!
Gotta wonder how much ZINC actually ever came out of that zinc mine on Gore’s property. quite a generous royalty from Occidental Petroleum.

If you put more stupid into the media, the funding increases.
Al Gore’s science credentials:

“When John C. Davis, a retired teacher and assistant headmaster at St. Albans, was recently shown his illustrious former pupil’s college board achievement test scores, he inspected them closely with a magnifier and shook his head, chuckling quietly at the science results.
“Four eighty-eight! Terrible” Davis declared upon inspecting the future vice president’s 488 score (out of a possible 800) in physics. “
Title for a new song. “Al Gore the Carbon Whore” Imagine it set to the same tune I used to hear on the PBS show “Bill Nye the Science Guy”. Just the cadence and tune of the song, no insult intended to Bill Nye or PBS. I think a good garage band could write the song and make it a video that would go viral on You tube and the world. There are plenty of people who would get a chuckle out of it. Musically exposing his stupidity and hypocrisy makes it more fun. It could be played at his inauguration ceremony where he is inducted into the Liars of the Century Hall of Fame along with OBOZO and his czar cronies.
“Al Gore the Climate Whore”. I like it!
LOL
Al Gore. Sings the Blues.
My Name’s Al Gore I’m just a lonely Carbon trading man. It’s so galling no one is listen to me catawauling about Global Warming any more. Is it because I’ve sold my soul by whoring about impending Climate woes for my own personal gain. All my hopes of pulling the scam of the century off are going down the drain.
The Great Tornado Doldrums: No Relationship Between Climate Change and Tornadoes
By Sebastian Lüning and Fritz Vahrenholt (translated by P Gosselin)
“And how does this compare to the long-term? Figure 2 depicts the statistically evaluated tornado frequencies since 1954. Also here the year 2013 ranks near the bottom. More than three quarters of all years saw more tornado activity than 2013.”
