And John Cook (no relation to me) links to Desmogblog, which was formed directly around Ross Gelbspan’s writings, and in the “The Campaigns That Tried To Break The Climate Science Consensus” John specifically links to, it reproduces the core accusation that Gelbspan built his second career around, the accusation that skeptics working in the 1991 “ICE” campaign were paid to “reposition global warming as theory rather than fact”.
I’ve already written two pieces at my new blog about how Gelbspan’s ICE campaign narratives has two major holes in it ( http://gelbspanfiles.com/?p=296 ). Now I can use this latest weirdness from John Cook to top off a new blog piece I was working on today.
These guys hand me material on a silver platter.

As long as John Cook doesn’t come to NZ as an academic AGW/CC exile and hang out with his AGW/CC Loony associates who’ve taken over the aslylum at Victoria University.

An entertaining article but a bit over the top.
Pointman is one of the best bloggers on the net. He writes from the heart and mind.
Me thinks he projects too much. But it was a fun read.
This guy reminds me of some crazed cult leader’s enforcer. His responsibility is ensure that people don’t stray from “the way.” Even that photo makes him look like a lunatic.
