Have you all noticed how unhinged the global warming alarmists have become? Have you all noticed that these people NEVER bring up facts or science? They have two standard answers to every question: one is about this ridiculous supposedly 97% consensus; the other is some attack on “deniers.” These people are obsessed with those who don’t agree with them. It’s actually funny to read and see.

  2. Jorge says:

Don’t worry about it Steve, it’s the Washington Post and only whackado lefties post there. Those are true believers, they won’t ever listen to reason.

  3. Jorge says:

Sorry, me again. I don’t mean to monopolize this thread, but I just thought of something else. Do you notice how global warming nutters always accuse people who oppose them as being bumpkin know-nothing idiots, yet if you read various blogs or comments on message boards it’s obvious that many of the comments from skeptics are well informed and many of the comments are from people who have a background in science or engineering or some similar field. Might there be some sort of “underground” scientific community who are beginning to speak out against global warming theories and this might be what is actually freaking out and scaring the global warming alarmist community?

The most rabid warmers are people with little understanding of science. Journalists are a prime example.

  4. Michael says:

So, if there is a food shortage causing political unrest, why does the United States burn 40% of its corn crop in its cars? Two possible explanations come to mind: 1. stupidity or 2. desire for political unrest.

    • Exactly. Growing corn is the number one consumer of water in the west. The ethanol and beef industries are literally sucking the west dry.

    • Traitor In Chief says:

…..and why does the Obama EPA want to INCREASE this use of ethanol by 50%?

      • Olaf Koenders says:

They want to be seen to be doing something against AGW, for vote-gathering purposes to perpetuate their machine – regardless the insane cost to society in the end.

  5. suyts says:

Speaking of food shortages…….. Here Steve, I wrote a post on this, but, it needs a special sort of derision only you can provide….. http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/earth-insight/2013/jun/07/peak-soil-industrial-civilisation-eating-itself

    We’re running out of dirt.

Hard to believe a warmist would use the handle of Sic Semper Tyrannis. Must be a mole.
Hard to believe they’d know Latin at all.

    • Billy Liar says:

He probably works in that well-known Virginia based intelligence agency and therefore sees benefit in having climate change as a ‘national security issue’.

    • terrence says:

I think it is Bill McKitten, using an alias – I find it hard to believe that two people can be as stupid as McKitten…
