Grist Demonstrates The Origins Of Stupidity And Witchcraft

Evidence of climate change is all around us, manifesting in superstorms, wildfires, and melting ice. But temperature spikes recorded by weather stations over the past 15 years have been more muted than was previously the case, and lower than climate models had predicted.

The US is experiencing the longest period without a major hurricane strike since the Civil War. This year’s wildfire count is the lowest on record. And Arctic ice is at a 12 year high.

While the increase in land temperatures has slowed down, the warming of oceans has sped up. About 90 percent of global warming ends up heating the oceans — and that percentage figure has been even higher over the last 10 years or so.

The missing heat has secretly sunk to the bottom of the sea.

It’s hard to sea, but the globe is still warming | Grist

Belief in witchcraft comes from world class stupid people like the ones who write for Grist. They view perfectly ordinary events and imagine that they are seeing dark magic.

  1. They don’t imagine it on their own, though. They are being TOLD exactly this by the “experts” now. (I see it in comments by self-styled academic experts every time I visit Judith Curry’s site, for example. And you CANNOT correct those deluded experts, including Curry herself–any more than you can correct any “lukewarmer”, as they are all doubling down on “the science is settled, it’s just exaggerated”.) There simply are no competent climate scientists. I can only be glad I am not the only one to see what utter garbage the “official” and “expert” position is.

Perfectly true but then Russians seem to come out with a more rational statements every now and again.

The Ruskies are already Communist. They don’t need a cover story. So they’ve dispensed with it, like they’ve dispensed with the ‘living wage’.
