‘The Met Office are saying that despite the recent concerns about the science, they are very sure about the underlying science. ‘They tell us there is a 50-50 chance we will get a 2C rise. If we pull our finger out we could prevent us moving beyond 2C but we have to act pretty soon‘.
A 2C rise could mean summers in the UK reaching 38C – a climate similar to southern France.
That kind of temperature rise would see the traditional summer deep borders full of herbaceous perennials such as lupins and delphiniums replaced with Mediterranean plans.

I want my global warming back!
It’s supposed to be summer, but I’m still wearing my wintercoat, for heaven’s sake…
What a load of old cobblers, I live in the south of France, and my garden doesn’t look anything like that one. And my “Mediterranean Climate” leaves a lot to be desired this year. Today at 15:00 (Central Eurpoean Time), on June 28th, the temperature is 14.5 degrees C.
So, anyone want one overhyped Mediterranean Climate? If so, you’re welcome to this one.
You can’t be cold! All the climate models say your should be 40C. The supercomputers can do trillions of calculations in a second and can’t possibly be wrong.

This is the kind of thing that Bernie Madoff went to jail for. Of course, this has become a political issue and the ruling class accepts the unacceptable “adjustments” as it furthers their agenda.
UHI is real and cannot be dismissed. Our urban areas continue to expand and retain excess heat that is then registered on thermometers. Adjusting modem temperatures downward and historic temperatures upward is the opposite of reality. Only an idiot or zealot would accept the excuses they give for these adjustments.
Next add in the GHCN fraud where they removed stations at higher altitudes and in rural locations, giving low elevation urban stations a weight they do not deserve and eliminating cooler readings. Anyone with at least half a brain knows what this does to the averages going forward.

A 2C rise doesn’t bring southern England temperatures close to what southern France is now. London highs average 23C in July and August, Marseille highs average 30C. It’s so easy to look up.
The Met Office is a complete joke, they completely bust every winter, when was the last time they actually got a forecast right?
