AT last a Scientist, Professor Myles Allen, Oxford University’s professor of geosystems science and head of its Climate Research Network, says what a lot of people have been saying for years. He says global warming has been one long con and billions wasted.
Even Europe has come to its senses and is about to change its policies on global warming – all in an effort to bring down the cost of energy bills.
Germany is to build power stations that will burn coal. But not Britain, which will still add £100 to people’s bills by way of green taxes.
The only people who seem to be benefiting from the global warming con are those who advocate building wind turbines and wind farms that blight our countryside.

Myles Allen is a Team defender and a consummate alarmist! He didn’t say that global warming is a con. In his recent article, he said this:
“[D]o I think we are doomed if we persist in our current approach to climate policy?
“I’m afraid the answer is yes. Subsidising wind turbines and cutting down on your own carbon footprint might mean we burn through the vast quantity of carbon contained in the planet’s fossil fuels a little slower. But it won’t make any difference if we burn it in the end.
[. . .]
“And these vast jamborees – some involving more than 10,000 people – haven’t even started to discuss how we are going to limit the total amount of carbon we dump in the atmosphere, which is what we actually need to do to avoid dangerous climate change.”
“Even Europe has come to its senses and is about to change its policies on global warming – all in an effort to bring down the cost of energy bills.”
The European Commission on Tuesday announced it was imposing tariffs on Chinese solar panels in response to “price dumping.” China has previously warned it would retaliate. The escalating trade war can only have one loser: Germany.
http://www.spiegel.de/international/europe/eu-announces-preliminary-tariffs-in-solar-trade-war-with-china-a-903511.html
For EU read Germany – the only country in Europe with significant solar PV manufacturing capability (+ a few small players in Spain, Italy France and Belgium). Citizens of other EU countries will be paying to support the German solar industry.
Yeah and some of those small players of Solar production in Spain and Italy aren’t doing anything, as they’re Mafia and criminal underworld operations sucking up on the BS subsidy $$$$.
The EU Green Energy industry has been tainted by criminal underworld dubious investments, money laundering and scams that don’t produce any power!
“Even Europe has come to its senses and is about to change its policies on global warming – all in an effort to bring down the cost of energy bills.”
No they don’t.
