Prosecutor Hopes To Prove That Zimmerman Didn’t Really Get Hit

De la Rionda honed in on Good’s earlier statement that he couldn’t confirm the person on top was hitting the other person.

“Correct,” Good said.

George Zimmerman trial: Neighbor testifies Trayvon Martin was straddling Zimmerman moments before fatal gunshot – Crimesider – CBS News

That strategy ought to work really well. Rionda sounds like a real genius.

What I have learned from the Zimmerman trial so far is that the government can spend $12,000 to $20,000 per year on public school education and end up with a graduate that can’t read. The latest review of test scores in Chicago Public High Schools indicates that 81% of graduates are testing below the minimum college requirements for reading, math and science. The private high school I attended has a growing ratio of minorities and 96% get accepted into college with 100% receiving either academic or sports related scholarships (We are a soccer and baseball powerhouse) at a cost that is $4,000 less per student per year than the public schools.

Sounds like the prosecutor is making the case for the defense – weird: the latest from Fox ( “Witness describes Zimmerman’s injuries, phone call to wife”) : “A resident of the Florida community where George Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin last year told jurors Friday afternoon how he encountered a bloodied Zimmerman immediately after the confrontation and took pictures of the murder defendant’s injuries.

State witness Joe Manalo testified that he took the photos with his cell phone that showed blood on Zimmerman’s lip and scalp.

“He had blood running down his nose from both nostrils and over his lips,” Manalo told Prosecutor Bernie de la Rionda.

The prosecution’s angle seems to be that Zimmerman didn’t wait long enough to be sure that Martin intended to seriously harm him. I really don’t believe they care about justice, George Zimmerman is a sacrifice to the mob.
