Prior to 1957, 100ºF readings were very common in Arkansas, with 486 100ºF readings recorded in 1954 . There was only one this year, and 88% of all 100ºF readings occurred with CO2 below 350 PPM. The five hottest summers were 1954, 1936, 1934, 1980 and 1930.
