Climate change is real, it’s caused largely by human activities, and it poses significant risks for our health. Some members of Congress disagree with this simple, scientifically proven fact.
The climate has been changing continuously for billions of years. When humans arrived in North America, Chicago was buried under a mile of ice. Fossil palm fronds have been found in Antarctica and Greenland. Human life spans are the longest they have ever been.
The simple fact is that Obama has absolutely no idea what he is talking about, and his aggressive, misguided policies pose huge risks for the the health of our society,

Obama is NOT ignorant. Of all the slurs one can make against him, “ignorance” is perhaps the single charge that is most false. Foremost, he is a liar, an absolutely world class, gold medal liar. Whenever he says something clearly false, obviously wrong, the reason why he said it is not that he is ignorant, but rather that he is a liar. One of his best lies is to convince you that he is ignorant when he is not. He is a liar. He is a murderer. He is a hypocrite. He is a traitor. He is a sociopathic force for evil. I could go on…but the one thing he is NOT, is he is not ignorant.

I agree, it is not even close to innocent ignorance. It is malicious ignorance, willful evasion, and unmitigated arrogance that is his guilt. He has reached the point that he believes if he says it, it is true BECAUSE he said it. You and reality are to agree or you must expect the full might of the government to come down upon you to force agreement and acceptance of his divinely inspired *HOLY* words. You must then do the impossible with the inadequate, immediately for free or suffer the consequences.

I think he’s doing the best he possibly can within the bounds of his abilities. He was groomed and carried all the way to the White House. Yes he is good at PRESENTING the lie. He is a TERRIBLE liar because he says things so obviously a LIE!!!! Without his fellow travelers in the Unions, Environmental groups, Universities, etc. he would have been thrown out by the end of his first term IF he had been elected in the first place!!!

His speech last week on NSA surveillance scared the shit out of me. Every time he denied the Government doing something I knew they were doing it. Also, the fact that he “personally” ordered a review of the surveillance programs gave me the worst case of eye roll I’ve ever had. I don’t think the man is an idiot by any means. All the Idiots I know could never pull off what this crook has done to this country… but they do unfortunately love love the guy.
Chuck, it should scare anyone. But I don’t think Obama is as much in charge as the impression he gives you. Obama planned to repeal the Patriot Act–before he was in office. He campaigned on it–that was his promise to those who voted for him. He not only re-upped it, he signed the NDAA on New Years Eve, and then the NDRP Executive Order Executive Order 13603: http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2012-03-22/pdf/2012-7019.pdf a few months later. It authorizes martial law. Similar documents have been signed since WWII, under the pretext of national emergency. Now, the wording is such that any reason will do.
I’d bet Obama knew nothing of these documents before he was sworn in; he had nothing at all to do with their authorship. He merely signed them. He began signing EOs the first week in office. Do you think he got down to work drafting EOs in between Inauguration and Super Bowl parties? I believe they were already prepared–waiting for him. I also believe had the Republican Vietnam POW become POTUS in 2008, he would have signed the very same documents.
Bush was and Obama is, along with their respective Congresses, setting up the system for a future POTUS who will be able to enact martial law against the American people, and the seizure of all private assets.
Contrary to what Obama may say, he is not in charge of what the NSA does. If anything, it is the reverse. Obama is a figurehead (yes, a dangerous one), but the NSA was working their plan the day he put his hand on the Bible and swore to uphold the Constitution of the United States.
Personally ordering a review may sound statesman-like, in control, Executive and all that rot, but I think it is meaningless. Those hoping for a change (pun not intended) by simply changing suits to a Republican in 2016, will, I believe, be sorely disappointed. I say that with extreme sadness and concern about the fascist state in which this country has become.
