   If you get sick thinking about Biden, look up Philo Farnsworth and his amazing invention and personal development of television. He is up there with Nicola Tesla, as a largely forgotten genius and a unique, seminal figure in modern technology.

   He also is sure that President Roosevelt (who wasn’t president) went on television (which hadn’t been invented yet) in 1929 to discuss the stock market crash.

   It had been invented by then but in fits and starts. What I think is happening here is that his rotted gin-soaked brain is mixing up several things.

   On 2 November 1936, the BBC began transmitting the world’s first public regular high-definition service from the Victorian Alexandra Palace in north London.[22] It therefore claims to be the birthplace of television broadcasting as we know it today.

   Secretary of Commerce Herbert Hoover was the first person to appear on television, on April 7, 1928, in a demonstration transmission conducted between Washington and New York by Bell Laboratories.

   Biden, the dumbest man in the United States Senate and now the Vice Presidency, has concatenated all these things together. It had nothing to do with the crash in October 1929 obviously and since he was born during WWII he is reciting factoids he heard over 20 years later. Biden is one of those people who Cliff Claven on Cheers was based on.
