Looks to me that the melt has got to pause, if not reverse. Between the 15th and 16th roughly half the arctic ocean went from above freezing to below freezing, according to DMI polar temperature maps.

Weren’t we told sometime in the past that the two poles were the canary in the coal mine? I am sure whoever said that would like to retract it about now.
