Extreme weather being driven by climate change is the biggest threat to British farming and its ability to feed the nation’s growing population, according to Peter Kendall, president of the National Farmers’ Union.
His comments, in an interview with the Guardian, come after a week of intense weather extremes. Last Monday, west London experienced the hottest day for seven years, while on Tuesday the drought in many parts of the country came to an end with intense thunderstorms that brought almost a month of rain in a day to parts of Worcestershire. Torrential downpours also put a dampener on the first weekend of the school summer holidays, with flash-flooding in parts of the south-east and the Midlands.

Right now “extreme weather” is a rallying cry for the nutters, it’s not an observation of actual weather conditions.
True – but unfortunately the nutters are in the majority at the moment.
I want to know from the Warmist con artists what is normal weather? Do they have the peer reviewed references to show that the weather is getting more extreme?

Oh god is there no end to the whining bilge that comes from these peoples mouths , incessantly.
How about wet middle class marxist ‘man made global moaning’ responsible for million of deaths, trillions of dollars wasted and young white males growing dreadlocks.
Strange how it always rains after a drought.. 😉
A months worth of rain in a day. You mean they didn’t get the 1/30th per day dictated by the models? How extreme!
Yeah, we get weather in the UK!
But it ain’t anything unusual!
A look at the CET shows MET fixing but Willis is on the case.
Plus, this of course, it’s just weather:http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/climate/uk/actualmonthly/7/Tmax/UK.gif
The uragandI, if they ain’t using strawmen, clutch at straws, the Socialistas are losing the CAGW argument [if indeed there ever was an argument to be had] – BUT – take cover when they start throwing around the s**t and it starts to fly.
