If the US wants to get involved then humanitarian aid, support for refuge camps, etc., would be a sensible approach. I’m having a hard time trying to figure out why you would want to intervene in a war between a Hitler and a Stalin. And if Assad’s regime falls, does that mean the chemical weapon stockpile falls into the hands of Islamists?
