Katherine Hayhoe Says That You Have Made God’s Creation Sick

PLAINVIEW—Persistent drought indicates God’s creation is running fever, a climatologist told a crowd at Wayland Baptist University.

Scientific data proves the climate of the High Plains in particular and Earth in general is changing, said Katharine Hayhoe, director of the Climate Science Center at Texas Tech University. Last year, Christianity Today named her among its “50 Women to Watch.”

Expert: Climate change demands behavioral change

If we stop burning fossil fuels, perhaps we can make the West Texas climate more like it was in the 1930s.

Scientific data proves? Katharine Hayhoe you are a climate alarmist and egoist of very little scientific worth if that is what you said.
Scientific study of the climate history shows that change is normal, even if, on occasions, it is fairly extreme.

I’ll agree with them that Hayhoe certainly is one of the women to watch – she’s a loose cannon spreading nonsense opinion.

“Katharine has a B.Sc. in physics and astronomy from the University of Toronto and an M.S. and Ph.D. in atmospheric science from the University of Illinois.”

A proselyte of Don Wuebbles, who is criminally criminal.

I never understood why my climatology profs thought climates were stable, and that is why I spent most of my time with my geology profs, as they were more stable.

    Jimbo quotes on WUWT today:

    Guardian – 25 August 2010

“John Cook, who runs skepticalscience.com, says his faith drives him. But what does religion give him that science doesn’t?……But Cook’s second, self-professed, stimulus took me by surprise.

“I’m a Christian and find myself strongly challenged by passages in the Bible like Amos 5 and Matthew 25?, he wrote. “… I care about the same things that the God I believe in cares about – the plight of the poor and vulnerable.””

    John Cook – Skeptical Science – 3 August 2010
“….my faith and my situation are my own. But hopefully for those curious, you understand more clearly the driving force behind Skeptical Science.”

Expert: Climate change demands behavioral change. I totally agree with that statement, damned if I’ll wear shorts, tee and flip flops in the Winter. I change my behavior with the seasons.

  7. Evil Steve has inadvertently prompted me into an email exchange with the editor of the Baptist Standard. I posed the question to the editor about “Which is the bigger sin? Failing to stop a so-called global warming crisis which has increasing credibility problems with its underlying science assessments, or breaking the 9th Commandment in order to be sure skeptic scientists’ criticisms aren’t taken seriously?”

Found a fun gem after the editor said Ms Hayhoe hadn’t mentioned anything about industry corrupted skeptics in the “Expert: Climate change demands … ” Richard Porter article Steve linked to. She didn’t there – correct – but what do you-all see when you pull the slider down to the 7:15 point of her May 2011 PBS Nova interview here? http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/secretlife/scientists/katharine-hayhoe/show/chat-katharine-hayhoe-tonight-7pm-et/

” …. Katharine Hayhoe: … A study released today showed that of the 10 scientists who publish material poo-poohing climate change (yes, there are just 10), 9 of them have directly been funded by Exxon and the remaining one is associated with Exxon-funded organizations. It’s not just Exxon though. There is the American Petroleum Institute, the Koch brothers, and other organizations, all with vested financial interests in muddying the science waters. You can find out more from two great books: Climate Cover-Up by James Hoggan, and Merchants of Doubt by Erik Conway and Naomi Oreskes. ….”

Jeez. Can our AGW friends be any more predictable?

If you don’t like the message, destroy the messenger. Very Christian of you, Katharine! God has a special place in Hell for hypocrites like you.
