Left-Wing Israeli Paper Says That The US Is Obligated To Get Itself Into A Huge Mess

A U.S. strike in Syria may have severe repercussions. It may get the United States enmeshed in an inter-ethnic Syrian conflict. It might spark an international crisis with anti-American superpowers Russia and China. It could cause Bashar Assad to act in an irrational manner against his pro-American neighbors.

And still, the anticipated American strike is a strike of no choice.

I think Russian Diplomat Lavrov has done a great job and I really hope he made clear to the USA, the UK and France that an attack on Syria or Iran is not an option.

Guys I’ve been amusing myself with Daniel Yergin’s books Commanding Heights and now I’m about 1/4 into the Quest.
Highly recommended for anyone with an interest in history and global economics etc etc

Anyway it is pretty obvious that most military action in the past has always had about equal likelihood of making thinks worse vs improving the situation and Syria is probably one of those cases. In hindsight encouraging (and likely arming) those uprising against Assad doesn’t look to have been all that great an idea. Syria may have been a hell hole but the situation is way worse now.

“During a short interview with Germany’s DW News last Monday, former US National Security Adviser and Trilateral Commission co-founder Zbigniew Brzezinski commented on the growing inefficiency of war due to the increased political knowledge of the public.”

I consider myself a friend of the Jewish State. But I don’t think the Zionist commies, the Woodrow Wilson Neo-Cons, and the Bible thumping Evangelicals have stopped to consider what is the long term viability of a nation as small as Israel, especially when she is surrounded by powerful enemies on every side and she has a large internal enemy population as well.

This is not a religious or even a political discussion, it is purely a military one. The Arabs can loose a thousand 6 day wars and nothing changes. If Israel looses even one war it is a catastrophe for the first magnitude. Do you people think that this lost on the Arabs? Take my word, IT IS NOT.

    • As long as they had a solid commitment from the US they were safe. But the election of anti-Semitic Barack Obama (including 80% Jewish voters) made the coming Holocaust inevitable.

      Fool me once ……

Political Zionism is unfeasible in this day and age. It is not the dark ages, it is not as easy to just murder a bunch of people and steal their land or enslave them.

I am sure the Rothschild’s and the financial mafia behind the Anglo-American empire got Israel stuck in the middle of Arab Palestine for the same reason they partitioned India…profit and control. A lot of debt and war, the twin pillars of world socialism.

As Einstein suggested, cultural Zionism would have been much more successful, for Jewish Zionists and the world as whole. I.E. Take back Palestine the way Mexicans are taking back Alta Mexico.
