The way it works is like this. A climate scientist walks into a casino and drops a quarter in a slot machine. Out comes $5 in quarters. Tomorrow he repeats today’s actions only this time he wins $50 in quarters. The trend is established and in his mind the longer he sits there sticking quarters in the slot machine the more he keeps winning. Soon our climate scientist will have to subjugate alien planets so he’ll have room to store his quarters.
Hold the presses. Even reputable scientists completely in the tank for global warming said hurricanes would diminish.
For liberal propaganda, its a “trend” if its going their direction. Its “irrelevant” if it goes the other way. A random oscillation can be reported as “a trend” every time it swings forth, half the time. Sheep believe its all the time because that’s the only report they ever see.
