Why hasn’t NASA been able to alter sat data . Is it under other administrative control ?

Someone once said “Trust, but verify”, and that works for RSS also.
The last time I checked, they receive some government funding. If you go to their website, they clearly promote AGW. I think they are the best source of “un-tampered” data at this time, but later, who knows….

I think this is a good point, Steve. Also the +/- 0.5 is probably about the best you could expect for an average temperature across the whole US. Probably should be +/- 1.0 C over globe.
