I took this picture yesterday on Sugarloaf Mountain, Maryland – a blue state which just elected a Republican climate denier governor. Across the Potomac River Valley is West Virginia, a blue state which is now almost completely red.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Years ago Democrats were Red… But I guess these Socialist Communist Progressive Democrats didn’t like being called out for what they are… Russia, China.. All Red… So they switched to Blue as the Majority and the GOP is now Red.
Given that the GOP is now in the Majority in Congress, in the Governors Mansions… And I think most elected State Reps…
Will Red flip back to Democrats??
I’d like to see Democrats shown as Red again… It more accurately represents what they are… Dictators, oppressive, control freaks…
Naw…they should be watermelon…green on the outside, red in the middle.
What I like to call little d democrats are good people.
We need to convince them to take control of the Democratic Party back from the elitists that are now in control.
If we behave like children – we lose. Quit with the meaningless drivel
nice picture
WND has a story pointing out that 67% of state congressmen are now GOP. Up from about 57 before 2014. Let that sink in. You’re going to see more states push through voter ID laws, and start taking apart the machinery of fraud the Dims have built up for decades. This is incredibly important. With stories showing up of 40,000 votes duplicated between two states alone, we’re going to start finding there aren’t as many blue states as everyone thought. I’d wondered why the name Barack Obama was found attached to residences all over the country, but I wonder no more. You get states voting by mail, and thousand of fake voters just need to send it in from whatever state they’ve forwarded to, or have family vote for them.
Joe Manchin D-WV who has grumbled before about switching parties to Republican so far has been mum. Just like Mary Landrieu who voted with obama 97% of the time will be voted out.
It has been a Very long time since I was in that part of the country… was that on or near the Appalachian Trail?
Further east
40 years ago I was married on the fourth overlook (near this picture location) in a snow storm! Still married!
Sugar Loaf Mountain with Dickerson Power plant in the distance to the south?
Didn’t read the text – oops!
I spotted the Chem Trails. Baltimore is what Maryland is in votes and the are Purple leaning free stuff.
Those are called clouds
(Non political answer): The actual red present resides in the autumn leaves still remaining on the deciduous trees especially at the lower elevations. As evident in your picture, most of the leaves have fallen at the higher altitude on the mountain. Tomorrow morning, I would expect it to be rather icy at this location — any chance of snow?
Time for an Article V convention of the states to clean up this mess.
I visited Sugarloaf 3 years ago. The graffiti at the top is a shame.
This is the same Maryland that will exempt churches from the “Rain Tax” as long as they preach the Green Religion?
