NCDC and NASA say that 2014 is the hottest year ever. They are lying.
Satellites show that this year is no where near the warmest, and temperatures are on an 17 year long downwards trend.

Arctic sea ice extent is at a 10 year high, and very close to the 1981-2010 average.
Antarctic sea ice extent is near a record high.
Northern Hemisphere snow cover is also near a record high.
None of the data is compatible with the claims of record heat by NASA and NCDC. They are committing fraud, and need to be investigated by Congress.
If you work for the government, and they do, you can’t go against the official party line. If you do they will make life deeply unpleasant for you. The military has to go along with this nonsense too because it’s their job.

Odd how the ‘party line’ was the same with Democratic majority in the house, senate, and white house (2009-2011) as with Republican majorities in the house, senate, and white house (2001-2007).
Odder still that the senate did none of the sorts of things the denizens here expect in 2003-7 even with James Inhofe as chair of the Senate Environment and Public Works committee.

But do complete the lesson — explain how saying accurate things about the majority party in the house + senate, and party of the president is a matter of ‘weatherchannel environazi agenda’, rather than merely being true statements about recent history.
… and hopefully once the new Senators are sworn there will be some action on this. I don’t hold out too much hope as it’s still the DoJ’s “job” to prosecute. All Congress can do is cut funds, and this administration has shown its willingness to ignore those limits as well. (See the last government “shut down” for proof.)
Hopefully this will put the brakes on all of these unconstitutional “regulations” from the EPA and the rest of the alphabet agencies.
Until people in government, elected and appointed, can be punished severely for their actions all this sh*t will continue. And spare me the “voting them out is punishment” crap. One term in either House or Senate and they are set for life, and go on to continue raping Americans in sweety gigs they get appointed to by friends still in Congress.
Smaller government means fewer government employees, which leads to less fraud and abuse.

Government fraud isn’t new. Just ask the American Indian about permanent land treaties. Why should the Democrat-controlled government treat the rest of us differently? What’s in it for them? What can we do TO them? Most of the Democrats in government are in the Executive Branch or the Judicial Branch and immune to elections. Can anybody say “NASA?” How about the health care system that brought us the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiments? What other frauds are being committed against us? Compared to the past, lies about the weather are small stuff!
