Thank You Barry!

Barry pulled a fast one by illegally delaying the worst pain of Obamacare until after the 2014 elections. In doing so, he has sabotaged his party for two consecutive elections.

What a guy!

    I never thought I would be saying this, but he did America a favor. The Liberals need to go!

    Not sure where else to post this “tidbit” of “green energy news” so here you go;

    Here’s the “money quote”;

    “A NRG spokesman blamed the weather, saying the sun didn’t shine as often as years of studies predicted.” Har Har Har……

    Apparently sunshine is a new phenomena and nobody has a good understanding of how the heck it works…..

    Enjoy,

    Cheers Kevin.

    But don’t think they are stupid. Now the Republicans have majority again they could lose the next elections with BIG numbers. The economy is not getting better. A new collapse will be blamed on the Republicans and Barry will do all he can to make that possible.

    Prepare for Hillary Clinton.

      Kinda tough to blame on the Republicans with a Progressive in the WH I think. Like it or not, right or wrong, when the economy tanks it’s not the congress that gets the worst of the blame, it’s the president. Take for example the mortgage bubble that set off our last recession. Bush was president and 14 different times Fed Chairman Allan Geenspan and others warned congress about the problem. The Democrats, led by Barney Frank, denied there was a problem and defended the actions of Freddie Mac and Fannie May time and again and refused to allow legislation to reign in the policies allowing the lending bubble to expand. Bush expressed his desires to reign in those rouges several time! Who got the blame?

      • David A says:

        Does this mean the president always gets the blame, or that the republican always gets the blame?
        BTW, I do think your point has some validity, but is dominate by the message in my question. I hope the new balance of power will be a more effective communicator to the public, but the MSM tries very hard to control the message.

        • rah says:

          Bush got the blame! And I think that try as hard as they might, the liberal press will fail to get independents to blame congress if the economy tanks again before the next election. The libs certainly failed to prop up the democrats in this last election and they tried very hard to do so. Pocket book issues are very powerful and cross party lines and to some small extent racial lines. Not saying that all of a sudden 40% of blacks will vote republican but only 10 to 15% of the 92%+ that voted for Obama need to stay home for the democrat nominee’s chances of getting elected to be toast.

        He who owns the printing press practices Freedom of Speech. The Democratic Party doesn’t “own” the Mainstream News Media and Hollywood, yet for more than a century the industry has been overwhelmingly Democratic Party and has been the DNC mouthpiece. Of course the Republicans are going to be blamed for everything that happens–just as Stalin blamed the small Russian landowners for disrupting the Soviet economy, just as Mao blamed the small Chinese landowners for disrupting the Chinese economy, just as Nancy Pelosi blamed “non-professional journalists” for spreading “lies” and demanded licensing (and leashing) of The Press, just as Settled Science demands that “non-scientists” such as this blog owner SHUT UP.

        Alternate press such as an unfettered Internet are vital to countering the DNC propaganda machine–the same Internet that “Internet Neutrality” is supposed to squash. What Orwellian Double-Speak! “Internet Neutrality!” Remember how Eisenhower and Nixon were “blamed” for Vietnam? Despite Kennedy’s hand in removing Diem, Johnson escalating US involvement to more than half a million American ground troops, the Mainstream News Media blamed Nixon and those repulsive Republicans for the entire mess. Note the silence when a Democratic-controlled Congress starved South Vietnam of all support in 1973? No “Democrats threw away Vietnam.” Not at all.

        Of course the Republicans are going to get blamed! “Deserves has nothin’ to do with it.” It is all about who exercises power. Should the US economy recover–it was the leadership of the President–and those nasty Republicans prevented the economy from improving as much as it could. The new Iraqi war? It wasn’t President Obama and his Democratic-controlled Congress who pulled out as soon as they could–it was the new repulsive Republican Congress in power that enraged the Middle East and caused the new war. Did it rain today? The Republican denial of Global Warming did it! How about the tide coming in? Global Warming caused by Republican denial of same is causing the seas to rise. Tide goes out? Nasty deniers Republican Party caused the waters to all dry up because Earth is heating up and causing all the water to be locked up in polar ice.

        Wait! Democratic Party–controlled public education is failing to academically prepare Black America for full participation in the American Dream–much as it did when “separate but equal” education was law. Today this failure is due to Republican refusal to nationalize America’s wealth and turn it over to the DNC. Even college graduates don’t know enough about science to distinguish between pseudo-scientific “consensus” and Science. I forgot–was it Big Oil controlling the Republican Party or the Republican Party owning Big Oil?

        So, whatever happens, it will be the fault of the Republicans–things would be hunky dory if not for the Repulsican Party. If Republicans didn’t exist, Big Brother would have to invent Emmanuel Goldstein.

    Yea painful changes for businesses and their employees are coming in 2015 but for some strange reason the most painful portions of this very unpopular travesty don’t kick in until 2017-18. What a coincidence.

  6. rah says:

    Just a thought. The liberal press and democrats are harping about how Republicans should “work with” this president. Well history shows that “working with” President Obama is a very hazardous thing to do. There are now 26 senators that are now former senators that “worked with” Obama to pass the Affordable Health Care Act and implement his policies. And that number will probably be increased by one if things go they way their expected to in the Louisiana run off.

    Seems to me that about the only thing more dangerous than “working with” this president is working for him AKA Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens.

  7. Psalmon says:

    Now if we can just get him to say his policies are on the 2016 ballot as well, every single one.
