White House Is Very Upset That Americans Have Access To Affordable Energy

Obama: Climate Change Remains Priority No Matter How Many Deniers in Congress

Given the number of congressional campaigns heavily funded by fossil fuel interests, that path will be more difficult and sparks will fly. Republicans have already indicated that pushing through the Keystone XL pipeline, limiting the power of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to act on greenhouse gas emissions and giving the green-light to more fossil fuel development, including fracking, are at the top of their to-do list—a list undoubtedly provided by their donors who funded their successful campaigns.

Amazing how the oil companies controlled all those voters!

The thought of Americans being able to drive to work or take vacations apparently sickens the president, who picked a science czar that has been promoting expensive energy for 40 years.

  1. Seems to be missing some reality gene or something.

  2. Send Al to the Pole says:

I doubt few if any of them said anything about it during their campaigns. The Dems had planned to institute a carbon tax here in the Emerald State if they could get control, but they lost.

Is there any treatment for Klimate Dementia? Electro- shock therapy maybe? Waterboarding?

    • nielszoo says:

Electro-Shock is rarely helpful as most Climateers will only allow solar powered appliances to be used on them. Intermittent and poorly regulated current flow from clouds, rain, mist, time of day sun angle and cheap Chinese subsidized (or expensive American subsidized) PV panels make it difficult to get enough “zap” to get the job done properly.

Waterboarding is now regulated by the EPA under the Clean Water Act and it takes around 7 to 10 years to complete the environmental impact regulations and the agency will most likely still deny operational permits “just because.” This is according to redacted emails recently stolen from Eric Holder’s iPad.

The only known cure is to cut all funding streams and force these sufferers of KD to find real jobs and pay for their research themselves… once they’re off the gravy train they lose interest and start looking for work as community organizers as they appear to be functionally unable to do anything even remotely productive.

  3. The Progressives know what they are doing.

    • nielszoo says:

They’ve been at it now for 101 years and aren’t about to stop now… they’ll continue to metastasize until they are removed from all positions of influence.

      • I wish you were right and prophetic about the removal. I will not stop trying but I’m skeptical it can be done. Not in this world.

Eve should never have touched that apple and Adam was reckless. A sensible man pays attention to what he eats, even in the Garden of Eden. But then, we know this now only because they didn’t, right?

  4. bleakhouses says:

“Less energy can mean more employment” for sure. It would take many more people to transport goods from state to state without trucks and trains. For instance, the load of one semi could be distributed to 100 horse pulled carriages. The 2 day haul say from Fla. to NY would now take 10 days. Not only does that increase employment from 2 man days to 1000 man days worked, but those carriage drivers have to stop 9 more nights at 99 more motels, thats 891 more room nights cleaned by 891 more hotel staff, 891 more meals served by more cooks and more waiters and so on. In fact, make the trip long enough and the carriage drivers can consume more than their load. Holden’s plan would guarantee 100%+ employment and a perpetual motion machine. He’s a bloody genius!

  5. Louis Hooffstetter says:

“US oil futures sharply rebounded Wednesday from the prior day’s dive…”
    http://news.yahoo.com/oil-prices-tumble-further-us-energy-report-151629502.html

A conspiracy theorist might suggest that just prior to the election, the Democrats manipulated oil prices to lower the misery index of the voters. Then the day after the election, it was back to ‘business as usual’.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but if it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck…

    • Edmonton Al says:

Ask John Holdren. He can be relied on to give you a logical honest answer. Hah!
      ;^D

    • Justa Joe says:

I was thinking the same thing about the much publicized out of the blue dip in gasoline prices just prior to the election. Of course, Donk manipulation can’t be proved well at least with the state run media running interference it can’t.

Also isn’t the administration saying, “F the voters we’re going to do what we want anyway” ?

  6. LeeHarvey says:

What in God’s name is Holdren talking about in that piece from 1975? Is he really that blindingly stupid?

    • Ernest Bush says:

He’s that blindingly arrogant as are most progressives. It’s why they rage on about herding skeptics into re-education camps and inviting the left to massacre us. We dare to question their word about CAGW and the pollyanna crap they are putting out there as “green energy” projects. Don’t ever make the mistake of thinking that these people are not “deadly” serious about their provably false beliefs or that they are stupid.

Remember that he wrote a book in 1977 advocating forced abortions, mass sterilization, and birth control by putting drugs in water supplies, and handing all authority to a world government to regulate every aspect of our lives, i.e., those of us who were going to be allowed to live. That belief was held widely by progressives from day one and nothing has changed that belief. They are not stupid; they are dangerous to Americans.

  7. Billyjack says:

The reality is that the Obama energy policy has very little to due with the climate concerns. If so why shut down Yucca Mountain nuclear waste disposal, that will effectively shut down nuclear electrical generation? The policy is intended to create an energy shortage that can be used to expand the Marxist agenda.

  8. Ernest Bush says:

I noticed this morning that Fox News is reporting that the “world’s largest solar array” for electrical generation is asking for a half billion dollar bailout. That is what comes of having the John Holdrens of the world make energy decisions for Americans. The plant is using 60 percent more natural gas to heat the boilers in the morning than expected. The array seems to only be producing about 25 to 40 percent of the expected output depending on the time of year. This is about normal for all solar and wind projects across the world.

The plant hasn’t even been in operation a year yet, and they want a huge government bailout. Yeah, let’s let Holdren advise the president on energy policy. That is going to work out well.

  9. Lawrence13 says:

“A bunch of world class wankers in the White House.”

You do make me smile Tony. But I really wish just for once you really let it , what you think that is.

  10. Mike says:

Horrible Horrible affordable energy. The middle class needs to ride bikes.

  11. Lawrence13 says:

Holdren is a total loon. I’ve seen the odd image of him on Obama’s or should I say the tax payers payroll and it looks as if a team of make up artist have tried to make him look more acceptable but really if it wasn’t for the left and AGW where would this man be -it would be sad if it wasn’t for the fact this eccentric nutter is in such a powerful, dangerous government position.

He reminds me of a character in a fantastic Mike Leigh play called ‘Nuts in May’,

  12. tom0mason says:

So remind me, why exactly do energy prices have to ‘skyrocket’?
