The Al Gore Ice Free Arctic Has Arrived!

On December 10, 2007 Nobel Prize winner Albert Arnold “Al” Gore solemnly forecast an ice-free Arctic “seven years from now…..our world is spinning out of kilter”

The forecast date has arrived, and Gaia celebrated the event with a record gain in ice -lurching back close to the 1979-2000 mean.

Our current leaders are undeterred by these failures, and simply lie, cheat and ramp up the propaganda rather than accept reality.

It will be very close to the average. Now the will increase from Svalbard.

Within one standard deviation is essentially the same as the mean. We would slap the hands of any operator on the plant floor that fiddled with a process if it was within THREE standard deviations of the mean. We had them manually plot Shewhart charts .

I think the guys on the plant floor knew more about statistics than the Global Warming Climastologists.

Imagine these guys using this math and logic and running say a refinery or pharmaceutical plant or an industrial bakery or, God help us, an energetic materials plant. I don’t know what would be worse, the fallout from the self destruction of the plants or what the products would actually do to you if they managed to get anything off the loading dock.

If they were designing buildings and construction equipment we’d all be living in hand woven tents next to the piles of rubble, broken down equipment and useless materials.

I vote for having all of them run an explosives factory in the middle of a desert away from everything else.

        • nielszoo says:

That’s kind of my thought. We can give them a bunch of +/- 0.1°C temperature sensors and they can use them to monitor processes that have to have +/-0.01°C tolerances. They keep telling us that statistics makes them more accurate, I wonder how many would open a mix valve on something with the energy of a batch of RDX based on the fictional, statistically challenged “accuracy” which they support as reality when it would most likely kill them? I’m guessing they’d discover tolerances pretty quick… or not. (Can’t wait to see the high-speed camera footage.)

So now we can winter on Baffin island? Enjoy a refreshing dip in to the arctic sea, sun (well moon) on the beaches!

I keep forgetting that the world began in 1979, and ended 14 years ago.
