My oh my. With the Global warming scare almost over, surely the CRU will now go back to the original finding fathers global cooling scare. Can Phil Jones not ask his old buddy Mike Mann to send out a press release to say that the hockey stick should actually have been upside down and the lack of warming can finally be accounted for.
Hubert blew with the wind. Around 4 years later he started warning about global warming.
Lamb wasn’t alone, either. Alarmist the late Stephen Schneider warned of the same thing, around the same time.
Top “scientists” warning of impeding doom, in tandem, and getting it extremely wrong. Sound familiar?
Yes he did! But now, the alarmists want to pretend none of that ever happened.

How bout that cyclone in India on the same page? I thought there were no storms at all anywhere ever until the last few years…. 🙂
They were right in 1972 about the cooling. They were short on when the next warming spell was due, just like the current crop that do not want to accept the natural cycles and the globe is cooling with minor warm spells mixed in.
The idea of CO2 causing the warming is a probable scenario if the natural long range weather patterns are ignored that were found after the 70s such as PDO, AMO, AO and others.
Nobama beat me to it. That cyclone in India must have been proof of climate extremes due to the impending ice age.
You have to believe in the warming scare now even though the same klimate kranks previously claimed that an ice age was impending (only to be proven wrong). As a warmist pointed out to me ‘science’ is iteritive therefore the last theory is the most valid.
Just the latest unfalsified proposal but the warming hype never really got to the theory state as it remained untestable and was not supported by real world evidence.
Where are all the 70’s Coming Ice Age repudiators?? Why aren’t the telling us how it was only the media and not the scientific community preaching a deep freeze??
