Ten years ago we all believed in global warming.
In 1999/2000 I was living in California and working one week a month in Bristol, England and Meylan, France. I remember flying into Heathrow in February with the temperature 15C, and seeing people water skiing on a lake in Windsor. The grass was always green. People in Grenoble complained that they could no longer ski at the 1968 venues. The summer of 1998 was the coldest on record along the California Coast. Colorado suffered a terrible drought from 2001-2003.
We all believed for twenty years that it was due to global warming – as Hansen predicted.
But then something happened. The climate swang back the other direction (like it always does.) This was not a CO2 driven monotonic trend, but rather a cycle.
Most people accepted the fact that they were wrong and moved on. Others just started manipulating the data in hopes that they could control the climate by lying to themselves and everyone else. An adult might label that sort of behaviour – “insanity.”
Good thing Obamacare passed. Now the guuvment can’t take care of them in Federal looney bins.
Nah with 90% of Carbon markets trading a fraud, there is no point being normal

Anthony Watts, myself and many, many sceptics [both layment and professionals] used to believe what the Warmist scientists told us. Then we began to see the light.
At the BBC website they had a comment section after the Cancun summit. I went through the thread and I kid you not, over 90% of comments were sceptical. It seems the climate has changed in more than one sense. ;O)
