More Reasons Why BOM Pretends They Don’t Know About Pre-1910 Temperatures

How did Tebbutt get the precision of 0.1 degree?
He was an astronomer, and used to making very precise measurements.
I meant, were there thermometers capable of that accuracy? And standards to calibrate them with?
You may wish to look here were Anthony Watts goes into the accuracy and precision of these type of instruments. Here –
http://wattsupwiththat.com/2011/01/22/the-metrology-of-thermometers/
also you may wish to look at some of the thermometers that were made around that time. Here is a link to E Cetti and Company of UK, if you search the rest of the site other manufacturers are there. Note the size of these thermometers, over 12″.

Lately this site gives a brief run down on lab thermometers and their calibration with some interesting links.

119 non agenda driven degrees! That is something worth noting.
The problem is that because *some* stations didn’t have Stevenson screens til 1910 (even though those that didn’t had sufficient shade anyway), they ignore *everything* prior, regardless of whether or not they had screens.
BOM says that before 1950, Australian mercury caused Alzheimer’s disease in all observatory staff and all data pre 1950 needs to be forgotten. Only post 1950 mercury is allowed to measure temperature.
Who Was Dr. Carl von Weizsacker?
Major scientific and political puzzles might be explained if:
1. Joseph Stalin won WWII in 1945
http://omanuel.wordpress.com/about/#comment-8355
2. The late Dr. Carl von Weizsacker, a theoretical nuclear physicist, were a Soviet agent that successfully used his flawed concept of “average nuclear binding per nucleon” to keep:
_ a.) Hitler from making an atomic bomb during WWII
_ b.) Nuclear energy hidden from the public after WWII
http://omanuel.wordpress.com/about/#comment-8370
I am not claiming this is the answer, but it seems clear that Dr. Carl von Weizsacker played a major role in
3. Deciding the outcome of WWII and
4. Obscuring the source of energy in cores of atoms and stars after WWII.
At what pressure, temperature the Sun’s nuclear fusion started ?
http://jtgnew.sjrdesign.net/images/sun_atmosphere_composition.jpg
And why is the corona so much hotter than the sun’s surface?
Robertv,
The pie graph shows only the composition of the top of the Sun’s atmosphere: 91% H and 9% He with all of the other 81 elements [Fe, O, Si, Ni, S, Mg, Ca comprise >99% of the material in ordinary meteorites and rocky planets] making up less than 0.2% of the top of the solar photosphere.
[Fe, O, Si, Ni, S, Mg and Ca are also very rare elements at the top of Earth’s atmosphere!]
Fred Hoyle explained on pages 153-154 of his biography how the internal composition of the Sun was changed abruptly and without debate or discussion from
1. Mostly iron (Fe) in 1945 to
2. Mostly hydrogen (H) in 1946
. . . the year that George Orwell started writing “Nineteen Eighty-Four!”
This manuscript [1] shows that the core of the Sun generates energy by neutron repulsion, the same source of energy that destroyed Hiroshima from the cores of uranium atoms.

At what pressure, temperature neutron repulsion starts ? And why is the corona so much hotter than the sun’s surface?
Why is the corona is hotter? See “On the cosmic nuclear cycle and the similarity of nuclei and stars”, J. Fusion Energy 25, 107-114 (2006): http://tinyurl.com/2hzg2b or

Thanks. Let’s see if I understand it.
As I was searching for temperature data I came across this –

I wonder where all the temperature records are?
Some of them are here:

Many thanks, hopefully they are all unadjusted 🙂
