  1. Mike Davis says:

I guess China is now experiencing its worst weather in recent history! However Brother Al again provides evidence he is pulling evidence from his nether region.

What’s amazing, really amazing, is continuing to tell these lies, when the lies are so easy to check out………..

Elite Openly Flaunts Plan To Turn Cities Into High-Tech Slave Grids

Chilling future scenario funded by banks & oil companies depicts authoritarian cities where only the wealthy will be allowed to eat meat, drive cars and choose their own career – all in the name of preventing non-existent global warming

    • Paul H says:

There were sci fi books written in the 50’s with this sort of scenario. Seemed like fantasy at the time. Not so sure now.

We have already of course had hints of what is to come in the UK with talk of extending congestion charges to most cities and road charges where you pay for every mile you drive even on country lanes, all to be enforced by spy in the sky satellite controlled by the EU. When challenged as to how all the technology needed could be paid for, the EU replied without any hint of embarrassment that it would be funded by road charges.

You can guarantee that the civil servants, politicians and various hangers on will have their charges paid for by mugs like us and eventually will have the roads to themselves.

I’ll bite.. how much is “unusual success”?

Apparently, another 40% is in agriculture:

    http://www.bhoomimagazine.org/food-health/item/35-what-every-indian-should-know-about-agriculture/35-what-every-indian-should-know-about-agriculture

“All our calculations show that tomorrow we can solve 40 percent of the climate crisis – globally and nationally – if we shed chemicals and start doing ecological farming which sequesters carbon 200 percent more, on the basis of our trials, when we compared organic farms to chemical farms”

I guess the worlds coal plants, cars, planes etc are in the other 20%, eh?

I’m also guessing that either Gore is an idiot (which is on the cards), or he has been misquoted when citing this:

“Buildings account for 40 percent of the energy used in the United States”

  5. PhilJourdan says:

Carbon USE reduction? I guess he is referring to the one child policy.

  6. Bruce of Newcastle says:

Yes, China has been “accelerating carbon use” as is clear from the queue of ships waiting to load coal off of my town. Adding the word “reduction” possibly refers to coal’s use for reducing iron ore to steel, it certainly does not refer to “accelerating carbon use reduction”. Graphs of China’s coal consumption look more like a FA18 taking off. Is Mr Gore living on the same planet as the rest of us? Does he really believe the stuff he says? ‘Tis a strange world is all I can say.

  7. Baa Humbug says:

Efficient buildings ha? Obviously Gore is now into some sort of construction business. Perhaps as the spruiker for a construction/design firm.

The man has no morals and no shame. One of the most abhorrant of the species. At least Hanson is crazy and truly believes his own bull$hit. But Gore just uses this AGW scare to feather his own nest.

No wonder Tipper left this selfish ba$tard

  8. Andy Weiss says:

Yes, the Chinese economy is just doing fine, being supported by our debt.
