New resorts continue to open in the Maldives, as the press continues to announce its demise due to the burning of fossil fuels.

Seems that those sea level rise believing Maldivers
are 100% sure that even more rich front beach property owning sea level rise believers will come to visit their luxury resorts.
That’s why they are investing in their sinking ship.
Or they have Hank Johnson as advisor.
The key insight gained by comparing pre 1850 with post 1985 atoll changes: Gaia can do what Mann cannot.
I hope that they are aware that those resorts might tip the islands over.
Under the guise of prevention of ‘Maldives drowning’, the island nation has had a wonderful opportunity to cull funds from UN countries around the world. They have increased/modernized their infrastructure and strengthened their economy. It is a wonderful vacation spot.
