Having lived through communism, people in the former East Germany vote strongly against it – but people in West Germany apparently haven’t suffered enough yet to figure it out.
Live German election results and maps: Conservatives win, AfD achieves best finish yet
I believe I read somewhere that “cheap” green electricity in Germany now costs
about 30 cents a kilowatt. Electricity in Minnesota, (a state with no coal reserves but we sure do import a lot of it from West of us) cost about 12 cents a kilowatt, and thank God it’s not more than that because my furnace fan has been running nonstop through almost all of February. you would think the Germans would wake up to this “green” nonsense…. but one would also think that the people from California would wake up…. but no such luck… so far. just wondering, have Tony Heller’s commenters heard the joke that now that Trump has renamed the Gulf of Mexico?? now named the Gulf of America, Trumps next proclamation is to rename the San Andreas fault to Newsome’s Fault. lol. I’m okay with that. lol
