Being from Lake Placid where the 1932 Winter Olympics were held. The story is always told how they had to bring ice in by train to shred for skiing. Of course here I sit watching the Masters with 2 feet of snow still in my yard. Ironically it was the same type weather for the 1980 Olympics here also.
