Wait a minute, Reilly’s actually talking about “an extreme climatic event like a national draught”. According to my (British English) dictionary, a draught is an air current, the sort of thing that happens if you leave a door open. The solution to a “national draught” would be a very simple one – a “national draught excluder”. Either that, or maybe use it to power some wind turbines.

Sooner or later there will be a bad drought, as they have happened multiple times in the past Hopfully, that doesn’t mean that the public will rush to drink the Kool-Aid when the inevitable crop disaster takes place.
