Nature Not Dead Yet

It seemed like it would never happen, but we are actually having a nice day in Colorado today. Long’s Peak in the background.

The sun was too bright and I couldn’t see the viewfinder, so I was just guessing what the camera was pointed at.

  1. Al Gored says:

Is that one of the internment camps they have set up to re-educate deniers?

  2. Latitude says:

    great shot!

    I want a prairie dog!

  3. Jim Cole says:

Looks like part of Prospect-New Town. An interesting experiment, but it’s SOOOOOO dense. I feel like I’m in El Greco village whenever I venture there – small footprints, but all 3 storeys high.

Latitude – you’re welcome to take all the prairie rats you want. The raptors don’t seem to like ’em much.

    • You mean Prospect in Longmont? I filmed it in Fort Collins.

      • Jim Cole says:

        Yes, in Longmont

This new Urbanist stuff is cropping up everywhere

I should have realized it was farther north because Meeker, Ships Prow, and the Diamond are all recognizable

        ciao

        • They have a good BBQ place there. When the kids were small, we used to play soccer in that little park in the center of town, and then get cookies at the restaurant. Longmont has the best pickup soccer game in Colorado – MWF just west of Prospect.
