I added a tab to the menu which will allow us to watch the Greenland meltdown this summer live.
In order to achieve Hansen’s “dead certain multi-metre sea level rise” we can expect to see about 20-30 metres of melt this summer.

One shouldn’t plan a summer vacation there, it would appear, unless your thing is cross country skiing over a flat surface.
lol, a real reality show!
Steve, could you please post a map showing where in Greenland this site is located. I went to their website, but couldn’t find the info there. thanks.
OK – it is right in the middle of the ice sheet.
Still a bit chilly as of 05/13 11:26:
Conditions
-16 C 3 F
Wind
19.0 knots
186 degrees S
They did get above freezing for a few minutes several years ago.
This is an excellent addition. Thanks, Steve!
BUT, BUT, I saw the GISS dark red, so I was planning to change my plans for next winters break from a Cuba vacation to Greenland, I mean James showed it HOT!!
I want to be one of those millions of climate refugees and head to those hot spots…
They probably have a large crew that dresses the snow and packs it down to keep the buildings accessible. This photo even shows a front loader!
I did not zoom in but it may be a dozer!
Are those spring Tomato shoots in the foreground?
I dunno Steve, but I would be terrified to go there, afraid that the whole sheet will slip off Greenland into the sea. Scary!
