Over the last ten years, water flowing into Lake Powell during peak melt season has massively increased. This is an excellent proxy indicating increasing mountain snowpack.

It sure is. Now, can we get the various journals to print retractions of the various snow death spiral prognostications?

Have you seen this……. last 30 years of N.A. yearly snow extent….an ever so slight increase!

Excellent. The hockey stick shape correlates perfectly with at least one of the IPCC scenarios. Now it is simply a matter of adjusting the weighting factors for the AR5. For example, we can use a weight of -1 to superimpose the water flow trend on top of tree ring results, thereby eliminating the tree-ring divergence problem. Then, using climate models, this local result can be tele-connected to give global trends…

      Is it still headed up?

AGW made predictions. They were in line with observations while the world warmed. Now signs are going the other way or flattening. See rate of sea level rise, methane, snowpack, extent, mean temps, recovering bleached coral………………… Can’t they see the writing on the wall?

can we not now extrapolate to the year 2100 and see how many cities will be flooded in the surrounding area? It will be Catastrophic!

This is really an exciting story. How high can it go? You’ve gotta be happy that Powell and Mead will be well supplied for several years now.

  5. Andy WeissDC says:

Every fool knows that warm air holds more water vapor than cold air, thus more snow is consistent with a warming planet. Sometimes it’s too warm for snow, so less snow is consistent too. It all depends on the state of jet stream disruption and global wierding.

I think you should wipe the X/Y scale and labels off that graph and present it as a Rorschach test for AGW libtards.
