Playing The Sea Level Game

The scam for the week is the claim that a tiny increase in CO2 in the 19th century up to 281 ppm, triggered the fastest sea level rise in 2,000 years.

Let’s pretend for a minute that theory is correct. The implication is that there is absolutely nothing we can do about it.

Either way they lose, so why are they playing this silly game?

Even alarmists are shooting down Mann’s sea-level hockey stick, more than likely for the same reason; it doesn’t support the AGW scam.

  2. Jimbo says:

Indeed, with 350ppm being the ideal target we’ll still overshoot. šŸ˜‰ What I would like to know is why is the rate of sea level rise decelerating while c02 continues upwards?

Here’s Willis giving the paper a good kicking.

  3. Grumpy Grampy ;) says:

Chicken Little needs something to be alarmed about!

  4. Jim Cole says:

“There’s nothing we can do about it” are the seven most frightening words to the AGW alarmists.

Equivalent to a cult that believes that evil is manifest in the changing time of sunrise/sunset. The heretic/skeptics tell them that there is no “perfect” sunrise time because it’s governed by the geometry of the earth’s axial tilt, the elliptical orbit around the sun, and a little bit of wobble.

Cripes, if they can’t blame mankind and human nature, then what’s the fri**en fun in that?!!

As they lose the debate to, and infront of, the public, the claims will get wilder, the message will become more muddled, the shrill hysterical voice will get louder.

Yep, the Kemp/Mann paper is just such an example…….. Algore’s Rolling Stone thing is another.
