Weird this happened 12,000 years ago, these fools can’t even write the correct things in the article

  5. Andy WeissDC says:

If there had been any truth to the hockey stick and other forecasts made prior to 2000, Florida would have been long gone by now.

The alarmists are no different than the kook who keeps predicting the end of the world and keeps putting off the date when it fails to materialize.

Just wait until October and you will see!!!! OR NOT as the case may be!!! The “True Believers” were taken up and the rest have to remain to continue listening to the Chicken Little Climatologists telling us the end of the world in Nigh.

Based upon the the fossils and amount of phosphate in the area, the peninsula has been entirely under water. But for some reason we are to believe if it happens again it’s our fault.

There are coral quarries inland from the east coast of Florida. What does tell us?
There are dead coarl reefs under hundreds of feet of water east of the east coast of Florida. What does that tell us?

You just have to love how they examine a sudden sea level rise 10s of thousands of years ago and, just because it’s what they want, they attribute it to slippage. There are dozens of other possible causes and I truly doubt that they can show it was caused by none of them.

The fear that slippage may occur with warming belies the fact that most ice breaks off die to excess mass. Fear of something does not make it real or rational.

Then they have the ignorance to claim that CO2 acts as a “greenhouse roof.” That’s just so first grade ignorant, it’s embarrassing.

I used to live in Coralville, Iowa which has a huge coral formation under the whole area. Sidewalks made from local rock have shells in them and as they dissolve leave shell-shaped holes—really quite pretty.
