June 25, 2011, 10:15 p.m.It was imperfectly odd. It was strangely unsettling. It was uniquely American.
On a balmy early Saturday summer evening, the U.S soccer team played for a prestigious championship in a U.S. stadium … and was smothered in boos.
And, yes, when the U.S. team was announced one final time, it was once again booed.
“We’re not booing the country, we’re booing the team,” Sanchez said. “There is a big difference.”
Yea, right.
The England team are used to it .

The signs are everywhere. The global warming panic is at the beginning of the end.
There is the distinct feeling that the new wave of immigrants are not as anxious to assimilate as prior groups.
One word … multiculturalism:

Its old, its cliche and but its pointed and meaningful.
America, love it or leave it.
One of the biggest irks I get is some immigrant pinhead choosing to hate on the American culture.
Here’s a note to all of them. The reason why you’re here is because you left a failed society. That’s right. Your society failed you. Your culture failed you. That’s why you saw something better here. If you don’t like it. Go back and try to make your failed society and failed culture better. But, failed is past tense as in there’s probably no way for the failed culture to become revitalized without an adoption of different mores. Likely, to come from a successful culture such as the U.S.
And quit trying to bring the failures of other cultures and societies here. Bunch f’n losers coming here and thinking we need to be tolerant of their loser ways.
I just found this at Mark Steyn’s site … a fantastic defense of the right to free speech that is being eroded in many Western countries:
